Fantasía en oro y macramé

La entrada de hoy consiste en un encargo que me hicieron, dándome total libertad en el diseño. Las únicas premisas eran que sería un regalo para una chica joven y que debía tener un cierre fácil de usar. Al ser para una chica joven pensé en no recargar el conjunto y en hacerla muy ponible. Tampoco había mucho oro para hacer una pieza muy grande. Con esta base me puse a dibujar, y al final salió esta pieza.

Al ser oval ocupa una buena área de la muñeca, sin sobrecargarla. Con los agujeros irregulares busque un toque juvenil e informal para que se pudiera llevar a diario. Para finalizar puse tres diamantes talla brillante de 1,5 -1,7 mm de diámetro. El acabado de la pieza fue pulido. La pulsera de macramé fue realizada con hilo negro de 1 mm de diámetro y con un trenzado consistente. Espero que os guste este diseño.

This bracelet was a commission. I was given total freedom with the design, with only two instructions: it was meant as a present for a young woman and its clasp should be easy to use. Since it was intended for a young woman I wanted to make it simple and wearable. There wasn't a lot of gold, either, so I could not make a big bracelet. I started drawing, and I came up with this design.

It is oval, so it fills the wrist without overburdening it. With the irregular holes I tried for a young and informal look, so that it could be used daily. Finally, I placed three brilliant cut diamonds on top (1,5-1,7mm wide). The final texture is polished, and the macramé bracelet was made in 1mm wide black string, with a strong braiding.
